Adriana Lara
Hello, my name is Adriana. I am a professional stylist with 30 years of experience, certified in color, highlights, balayage, and cuts for women, men, and children. I began my career in Colombia, my country of origin. In 2003, I moved to New York, where I continued my journey as a stylist in Long Island until 2019. After that, I relocated to Houston, Texas, where I currently work at Art and Beauty Salon. I am proud to be part of a fantastic team, helping clients discover and express their unique personal style.
Tarez Abumrad
Hi, I’m Tarez. I have dedicated 15 years to the beauty industry, starting my career as an esthetician in Chicago, Illinois. In 2009, I relocated to Houston, Texas, where I became part of the Art & Beauty Salon team. I provide a wide range of beauty services, including waxing, microdermabrasion, facials, massages, body scrubs, and body wraps. To further enhance my skills, I am currently pursuing a cosmetology license to become a hairstylist while continuing to offer skin treatments. I look forward to delivering these dual services to our amazing clients!
Lorena Mejía
My name is Lorena Mejía. My journey into the beauty industry began when I emigrated from my hometown of El Salvador in 2004. Shortly after arriving in Houston, Mr. Jorge Herrera, widely known in the city as Polo, gave me the opportunity to work as his assistant. Polo became my greatest inspiration, and it was through him that I rediscovered my childhood dream of working in beauty. After my time with Polo, I joined Harold Herrera at Art and Beauty Salon, where I specialized in highlights, color, haircuts, and hairstyling. Thanks to my dedication and hard work, I obtained my cosmetology license and continue to enhance my skills through ongoing courses to stay updated with the latest techniques. Manuel Fontan
Thirty-three years ago, I left my home country of Puerto Rico and moved to Chicago, where I began my career as a professional stylist. Since then, I have pursued my dream passionately in the beauty industry. After a few years, I relocated to Houston, a city whose warmth I have come to appreciate deeply.
In 2000, we founded Art & Beauty Salon, where I continue to work and serve the community with dedication. I stay updated with the latest trends in fashion and beauty by taking courses regularly. My mission is to make you look and feel like stars, polishing your inner diamond with the best beauty services. I look forward to serving you with all your beauty needs.
Carlos Arturo Hoyos Mejía
I am a professional Colombian stylist with 35 years of experience in the beauty industry, both nationally and internationally. My journey began at the age of 20 at Dyna Beauty Academy in Bogotá, Colombia, where I earned multiple diplomas specializing in color techniques, highlights, streaks, lighting, ribbons, and haircuts for both men and women. In 1999, I relocated to the United States, where I have successfully built my career as a stylist. In Colombia, I had the opportunity to work at renowned salons like Bonsua, Arena, and Blondie Beauty. In Houston, I have dedicated 15 years to Art & Beauty Salon and 6 years to Switch Hair Salon. Throughout my career, my priority has always been providing excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at every appointment.
